Restroom Tips / Information

At times our son needs one of us to accompany him to the restroom. As a result, we need to use a Companion or Family restroom. In addition, many people with sensory issues are frightened of automatic flush toilets and/or loud hand dryers. For these reasons, we’ve tried to indicate where the companion restrooms are located in each park and also if the restrooms have automatic flush toilets and/or loud hand dryers. Check each park's map for baby care centers and service animal rest areas.

We received a great tip from Sharon R about the automatic flush toilets "...We brought small sticky notes in her potty bag (Clorox wipes, reward stickers, Cottonelle wipes, hand wipes, etc). We covered the sensor with one sticky note before she sat down, and voila: silent toilets! We didn't take it off until she got up and back into her wheelchair."

Magic Kingdom

Transportation and Ticketing Center: There is a companion restroom on the right-hand side after you purchase tickets. The toilets are auto-flush in all the restrooms at this location.

There are companion restrooms at the following locations:
• Adventureland: Pirates of the Caribbean: located near the ride exit.
• Frontierland: Splash Mountain, near the ride exit, under the railroad depot.
• Fantasyland: Castle: Cinderella's Royal Table restaurant lower level.
• Train station: in Storybook Circus area.
• Fantasyland: Rapunzel's rest area between It's A Small World and the Haunted Mansion.
• New Fantasyland: near Gaston's Tavern. Toilets are auto-flush and there is a hand dryer.
• Tomorrowland: To the right of Space Mountain. The toilets auto-flush.

Epcot

There are companion restrooms at the following locations:
• After you enter the park on the left-hand side of Spaceship Earth
• In Future World West, across from The Land.
• In Future World East, across from Test Track.
• On the right, before Canada.
• To the right of Morocco. These toilets are auto flush, but no hand dryers.
• To the right of Germany.
• In Norway, across from the Viking ship.

The restroom after you enter the park on the right-hand side of Spaceship Earth has auto-flush toilets.

Hollywood Studios

There are companion restrooms at the following locations:
• On Sunset Boulevard, near Tower of Terror
• Near the exit to Rock 'n' Roller Coaster.
• Fantasmic amphitheater
• Across from Star Tours
• Next to Lights, Motors, Action!

There are no hand dryers in the restrooms at Hollywood Studios.

All toiletsare auto-flush except for the ones located at the stroller rental area near the park entrance and American Idol.

All urinals are auto-flush except for those located at the stroller rental area near the entrance.

Animal Kingdom

There are companion restrooms at the following locations:
    • Across from Flame Tree Barbecue near the bridge before crossing into Dinoland.
    • In Dinoland next to Chester and Hester's Dinosaur Treasures
    • Between Everest and Kali River Rapids in Asia
    • In Asia on the left before the entrance to Maharajah Jungle Trek
    • In Asia inside the Maharajah Jungle Trek as you exit the Bat House.
    • At Rafki's Planet Watch at the conservation station.
    • In Africa near the Mombasa Marketplace

At the entrance to the park before the turnstiles, there are restrooms on the right. The toilets are auto-flush. There are no hand dryers in this restroom.

Lion King Festival restroom toilets are auto-flush type. There are no hand dryers in this restroom.

The restroom near Dinosaur, next to Restaurantosaurus, has loud hand dryers.

Blizzard Beach

There is a companion restroom at the back of the locker area.

Typhoon Lagoon

There is a companion restroom located near guest services.

Downtown Disney Marketplace

There is a companion restroom at the following locations:
• Near Parking Lot A, next to Once Upon a Toy
• Next to Disney Design-a-Tee

Universal Studios

• Universal Studios has one companion/family restroom located between Mel's Diner and the exit to Shrek, across from the Transformer's building.
• All toilets and urinals are auto-flush except for the restrooms next to Disaster, at the walkway between Disaster and Fear Factor Live, and next to the Mel's Drive-in restaurant.
• Every restroom, except for the KidZone restroom, has at least one hand dryer and several paper towel dispensers.

Universal's Islands Of Adventure

• Islands of Adventure does not have any companion restrooms.
• All toilets and urinals are auto-flush.
• Every restroom, except for the one in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter and inside the Jurassic Park Discovery Center has at least one hand dryer and several paper towel dispensers.

SeaWorld

Companion restrooms are at the following locations:
• Main entrance next to “Exit Gifts” gift shop
• Village Square across from Polar Parlor Ice Cream Shop
• Friends of the Wild Gift Shop
• Shark Encounter
• Baby Care Center in Happy Harbour
• Seafire Inn
• Voyagers Restaurant

The restroom at the entrance to the park is auto-flush without hand dryers
